Lao Beijing -
A2 Whole Milk

The client requested visually appealing packaging for a new addition to the Lao Beijing dairy line—A2 Whole Milk. They wanted a modern, eye-catching design with Japanese-inspired aesthetics, reflecting their reputation for distributing Japanese milk products. The packaging needed to clearly highlight the benefits of A2 milk and its local production from Canadian dairy farms.

This design has since been approved by T&T’s buying team and is scheduled to launch in stores by the end of the year.

Design Inspiration

I began by gathering inspiration, researching Japanese whole milk products and A2 milk competitors to identify visual trends, packaging styles, and brand positioning strategies.

Physical Bottle

Understanding the physical form of the packaging was essential, as the 1-litre glass bottle defined the design boundaries. I opted for a simple, bold approach—using contrasting typography colours and colour blocking visuals to segment information—ensuring the product’s benefits were clear and visually impactful for consumers.
